Carter Holt Harvey MTG – Chipper Canter discs

One of Australia’s largest sawmills has a Soderhamn’s band saw line installed by Recycling Technologies Group in 1994/5. Recently the sawmill upgraded their chipper canter discs with Soderhamn’s new Combi Cut discs. These discs are a combination straight knife and spiral knife design that reduces power consumption operates with very little vibration and minimizes the production of pin chips. Knife changing times are drastically reduced as a result of the technology advancements. Despite being offered competitors discs at zero cost, they purchased our discs and are very happy with their decision.
